Successful sale of k26 Frankfurt

OFFICEFIRST Real Estate has successfully sold the Frankfurt high-rise building k26 to Generali Real Estate. The building was purchased as part of an asset deal for the pan-European fund “Generali Europe Income Holding” (GEIH).  

The k26 is a centrally located high-rise in the heart of Frankfurt’s banking district, at the corner of Kaiserstraße 26 and Mainzer Landstraße 28, and is in the immediate vicinity of the Commerzbank Tower , the city’s most prestigious and sought-after submarket, which houses the corporate headquarters of several multinational companies and benefits from excellent transport links and proximity to the luxury mile Goethestraße and the Frankfurt Opera.

At a height of approximately 75m, the building has 20 floors and around 11,500 sqm of office rental space. The facade is lined with red natural stone and glass elements. The property, which was built in 2004, has been extensively renovated over time and has already received BREEAM certification with a rating of “very good”.

The k26 is fully leased, with a long-term tenant at the base and a multi-tenant structure in the tower. The main tenant in k26 is the private bank Hauck & Aufhäuser, which has leased 6 floors in the base area on a long-term basis. The other users in the building come from the financial services, banking, management consultancy and consulting sectors.
