Digital information event in the context of the co-designing citizen participation for the CzernyQuartier.

The new CzernyQuartier is to be built in a central location near Heidelberg’s main train station, between Montpellierbrücke and Europaplatz. Last year, a planning competition was held in which the development concept of MÄCKLER ARCHITEKTEN from Frankfurt am Main came out on top.

Digital information session Feb. 15 at 6 p.m. online via Teams

Now the developer’s representative, OFFICEFIRST Real Estate GmbH, invites to a digital information event to inform interested citizens about the project by way of early and participatory citizen participation. This will take place on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at 6 p.m. and will be broadcast via the video conferencing provider MS Teams. Speakers will include the architects of the competition winner, MÄCKLERARCHITEKEN and the client representatives from OFFICEFIRST, the company overseeing the project, who will be on hand to inform attendees about the project Participation in the event is possible without prior registration. What is planned: The CzernyQuartier project

The CzernyQuartier project is located south of Heidelberg’s main train station and connects Europaplatz with Montpellier-Carré. Residential as well as office and retail space is to be developed in the CzernyQuartier.

The designs by MÄCKLER ARCHITEKTEN envisage an attractive urban quarter with six structures that form an ensemble with high amenity and open space quality as well as permeability for pedestrians, thus continuing the high-quality urban development of Bahnstadt.
